WOOF! MEOW! OINK! RAWR! 

This pattern was inspired by childhood memories of the picture books and toys that taught so many of us our animals sounds, combined with my love of bright, saturated color and hand-drawn typography.

Growing up I had a kid-sized plastic dinnerware set that featured a variety of jungle animals and I especially remember the giraffe, with his long neck, standing tall above the other animals. In this pattern I created a jungle of leaves and trees for the giraffe and his friends to play in, as an homage to the happy and simple graphics of my childhood in the 70s.
